Professor of Analytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis at Southwest University, Chongqing, PRC. He graduated from Peking University with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 1996. After that, he became a researcher at the Central Research Laboratory, Hitachi Ltd, Japan. In the period from 2000 to 2003, he became a postdoctoral fellow in Cell Biology at the University of Ottawa and Pharmaceutical Analysis at the University of Tokyo. His research field is resonance spectroscopy and biomedical spectroscopic analysis. He has published papers over 600 in JACS, Angew Chem Int Ed, Sci Adv, ACS Nano, Chem Sci, and Anal Chem with 28800 SCI citations and an H-factor of 83. He is a highly cited author by Clarivate, Royal Society of Chemistry, and Elsevier. He authored 2 academic books and co-authored 3 academic books published by Science Press and RSC, and chief edited 3 textbooks and co-edited 1 textbook.
