Talk Title: Smart Optical Sensors for eDiagnostics and eMonitoring
Dr. Hamed Golmohammadi is currently an Associate Professor at Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran (CCERCI), where he leads the Nanosensor Bioplatforms Laboratory/Research Group. His research activities are focused on the development of novel smart (bio)sensing devices for e-Diagnostics and e-Sensing applications. In particular, his research is focused on the integration of photonic/optical sensing bioplatforms with Internet of Things (IoT)-based digital technologies for application in wearables and (bio)sensors technology, whose results aim at displaying analytical information related to various fields such as medical diagnostics, healthcare, environmental monitoring, etc. at the point-of-care/need. His research group is currently working on the development of smart wearable biomedical sensors capable of non-invasively sensing biomarkers in interstitial fluid, sweat, tears, and saliva to address unmet diagnostic demands in the era of digital health/Healthcare 4.0. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (Germany) as well as a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
